The Destitute Animal Shelter is a rescue charity dedicated to caring for the lost, stray and abandoned dogs and cats of the Bolton area. We have a non-destruction policy and are committed to reducing the unwanted cat and dog problem in this area by neutering every animal that we re-home.

We now engrave "posh" tags for dogs and cats. They cost £5, you can either call at the shelter or send a postal order or cash (no cheques) with details of what you want on the tag and we will post it back to you free of charge. Remember the more you have on the disc the smaller the writing. we have purple, green, blue, grey, red, gold, pink, black and brown. If we run out of a colour we will engrave a tag similar in colour. All money goes to the animals in our care
